Leaders from East Brooklyn Congregations, who live in Bushwick, Brownsville and East New York meet regularly to both help and prod officers from the 83rd, 73rd and 75th Precincts improve public safety and the quality of life in our communities. Our leaders gather information about sites of ongoing criminal activity and other areas that need police attention (such as the protection of school children during dismissal), meet with Precinct Commanders and other top NYPD officials to provide all the information they need to take necessary action, and then hold them accountable to make sure that needed action is taken. |
